#Motivation Aesthetic Needs
1. It refers to people’s desire to enjoy the beauty of their surroundings of their society. It focuses on the people’s need for love for beauty, understands and promote the beauty of the human surroundings. People are motivated to love and encourage the beauty including art, music, nature in society. Aesthetic needs offer people an opportunity for relaxation and recreation in various communities in the human environment.
I am 70 percent agree his model has great significance in human psychology, it helps to shape their behaviors in different situation of the society. Maslow’s model of needs has some limitations like all the people are not the same. We have various kinds of people like two categories introvert and extrovert. Introvert are those who cannot easily socialize with people, they are tending to be in their comfort zone whereas extroverts are those who can easily express their emotions to people and they are very socialized. Therefore, in this case, his model is not applicable to all types of people. It is observed that there is no vanity of human needs.
It is part of human nature that human beings always have desire to get more and more things in the human environment. It is an interesting phenomenon related to Maslow’s need-based model of human motivation, despite lack of empirical evidence to support its hierarchy, it enjoys wide acceptance, (Wahba & bridge well 1976) but it can be viewed that theory has many limitations like not everyone will be motivated to strive for these needs and helps them to grow in the human environment.
There is need for much more work to be done in the area before we can rely on the theory to be more informative than simply collecting and analyzing data. According to Huitt 2007, his hierarchy of needs gives an outline of some significant issues that should be addressed if people are to achieve the level of character and competence to be successful in the human environment.
