There are positive as well as negative social influence on English on Asian countries like increase demand of standard life style. Value of English is increased socially. In Asian school system children are supposed to learn English at primary level. In 2001, English is made compulsory subject in China. Similarly, many school systems of India adopted same system. Moreover, many countries of Asia like Hong Kong and Singapore have same system. They have been growing socially. It gives economical prosperity and helping middle class Asian family to grow equally like upper class. There are also negative impacts of globalization of English like it kills our local language.

It becomes very hard for indigenous language to maintain the Ethno-linguistic identity. It is killer of our cultures. Like in Asian there are different countries and all of them have diversity of cultures, every country has their cultural and traditional norms. In other case it is threat too our culture, our social values like if we around that nowadays people are following western culture by all their means such as in food, pizza, KFC, burger, MC Donald, zinger, coca -cola, etc. In dress coat, pent shirts, tops, skirts, demand of western wear, and lacking in eastern wear like shalwar and kameez and kurta in all. In music, the demand for English pop music, no mystical music of Sindhi Raag. So, it is a threat to our identity itself. Day by day we people are losing our languages, our cultures.
