#Motivation Physiological Needs:
Maslow called it basic human needs. People are motivated to fulfill their physical survival needs. It includes food, water, clothes, shelter, oxygen, warmth, etc. He said these are fundamental needs of humans to meet up the next needs. If these basic needs would not be fulfilled, human beings cannot be striving for other needs.
According to Poothullil 1992 examines that there are some basic needs like oxygen, salt, water that have gathered empirical evidence, as hunger and deficiency motivated them to get these needs. Without the fulfillment of these needs, human beings and society will be in the extinction. No doubt basic needs are essential for the survival and sustainability of humans on earth.
According to Rondinelli (1993) identified two components of basic needs first one is family needs such as food, shelter, clothing, and the second component is community needs such as clean water, health services, educational services.
Hope and Timmel state that in Maslow’s model of the hierarchy of needs that some needs are more basic needs and more important to others like food, shelter, clothing. Thus, it is important to first fulfill these needs and then striving for other needs.
