#Motivation Safety Needs

        After the physiological needs. People can work to meet their safety needs. These are second needs in the hierarchy, human beings must feel safe, secure, and out of danger. People should feel free from any kind of crimes like street crime, kidnapping, robbery, rapes, and killing of people. 

        According to Santrock (2001) says that safety needs are a guarantee for the survival of the people in these situations like protection from war and crime. They should feel protected from any chaotic situation like conflicts, wars, flood disasters, earthquake, etc.

        People should feel safe secure from every aspect like mentally, physically, emotionally. They wouldn’t have any fear of these things. As far as students are a concern, teachers must look after either they are feeling safe and secure in the school’s environment or they are disturbed emotionally, mentally, and physically. 

        It can have viewed in the terms of what threats they are facing in school. Colleges and universities, either their safety needs are stratified or not.
